CosmicForge Web3D is a persistent multiplayer 3D world with no client to install and no launcher to sit through. You open a link and you are in it.
The premise
Large online worlds have always asked for a lot before you can see them: a download measured in tens of gigabytes, an account, a launcher, a patch. Web3D is an attempt to put a persistent, shared world on the other side of a single link — running on what a modern browser can already do, on hardware people already have.
Where it is
In active development, and not yet open to players. This page exists so there is somewhere to point at while that work happens — there is no date to announce and nothing to sign up for yet.
When there is something worth showing, it will appear here first.
